Congrats to Coach Kim Campbell. Kim was victorious for the 500th and 501st time last night. She is now one of only 35 coaches to achieve that mark in Nebraska History and in the top ten in wins all time among active coaches


Gordon-Rushville Public Schools is selling 42 old choir robes that have been declared surplus. Please contact the district office if you would like to purchase any. They are $1 each and will be available for sale until Friday, October 4, or until all robes are sold. Proceeds will go toward the GRHS music program.

Gordon-Rushville Middle School will begin Enrollment Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at 8:00 AM. Please pick up paperwork the Gordon-Rushville Middle School Office.


🔥Here we go! Time to get a jump start on conditioning for fall practices!🔥
Here is the line up for August 5th-August 9th:
🏃🏼♀️🏃🏻♂️Cross Country will meet 6:30 am @ the track Monday-Friday
🏈Football conditioning will be Monday-Friday @ 6 am. Bring your cleats.
🏐 Volleyball conditioning will be from 7-8 am Monday-Friday meet in the gym on Monday.
🏌️Golf- Coach Morris will be at the course in Gordon at 8 AM for Monday and Wednesday and will be at the course in Rushville at 8 AM for Tuesday and Thursday.
The following week (August 12th-16th) Fall Sport Practices will begin. You must have a physical to participate in practices and need to turn those in to your coach.

Marching band has begun.
We will have practices on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays at 5:00 at the high school.

Parade 27th, line-up at 9:30 Saturday morning!

Just a reminder that GRPS is hosting a Community Facility Meeting this evening Friday, June 21 @ 5:00 PM. Due to anticipated turnout, the meeting has been moved from the Cafeteria to the Gymnasium at the high school.
Topics for discussion include:
- Development of a five year facility improvement plan
- Discussion regarding a potential track renovation
- Discussion regarding a potential outside facility assessment
The public is invited to attend to receive information and provide input regarding district facility needs and potential updates. We hope to see you there!

Please see the flyer regarding a parent resource open house next Wednesday evening at WNBH. Clinicians will be available to provide information and respond to questions about development, sleep, eating, behavior, etc. In addition, Kristen Maag, the area Parent Resource Coordinator will be available to meet with families regarding information about applying for insurance, disability paperwork, financial support resources, etc. This event is provided as part of a collaboration between GRPS and WNBH through the receipt of the Juvenile Justice Grant.


GRHS All-Stars McKinley Grover and Trinity Taylor played in the Panhandle Prep game this evening. McKinley on the blue team and Trinity on the red team. McKinley also participated in the 3-point shooting contest! Congratulations, ladies, and thank you for your positive representation of GRHS!

A HUGE "Thank You!" goes out to the students and staff at the Gordon-Rushville Middle School who, despite to cooler temperatures and mildly wet conditions Monday, participated in a community clean-up that spread throughout the entire town of Rushville. What an amazing day for a great group of kids! If you see any middle schoolers around, please thank them for the effort they put forth to cleaning up Rushville!

GRMS Families, the award ceremony for the Gordon-Rushville Middle School will be held this Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at 10:15 in the Middle School Gym.

Mr. G's Winning A-Team was called The Pink Fluffy Unicorns and members listed below will be enjoying a field trip to Chadron tomorrow. Parents, opt-out forms will be sent home tonight with kids if you do NOT want them to go on the trip. The teams were evaluated based on Attendance, Behaviors, Tardies and MAPs scores.
