The GRHS One Act team will have a public performance Friday, November 15 at 7pm.


Mr. Haag's class built bridges and competed to see who's construction carried more weight with the lightest construction mass.











Mr. Morris' Biology class did a titration activity. Titration is the slow addition of one solution of a known concentration (called a titrant) to a known volume of another solution of unknown concentration until the reaction reaches neutralization, which is often indicated by a color change.

2024-2025 National Honors Society Inductees - Valeria Benitez-Soccaras, Lainey Fillmore, Amara Funk, Marlee Karacik, Emma Martins, Keeten Sauer, Reese Simonson, Rowan Simonson, Taileigh Starr, Claire Wellnitz, Jonathan Ziller. Congratulations.


Mr. McKimmey's classes set up a germination station to learn about starting vegetables for the spring. Soybeans were added to the plants to teach nitrogen inoculation and learn about legumes.


You can watch Amara Perform the national Anthem on Saturday, February 22nd at the CHI Health Center in Omaha, the performance will also be broadcast across the state on Nebraska Public Media.

Congratulations to Junior Amara Funk, She has been selected to participate on the 2024-2025 NSAA All - State Choir. Additionally, She was selected to Sing the National Anthem at the 2025 NSAA State Wrestling Championships at 3:00 PM CST on Saturday, February 22nd.


On November 7th, we will host the annual GRMS Wrestling Tournament. Students
will not be allowed to call parents to be dismissed for the tournament on the day
of. If you would like your student to attend, parents must stay at the tournament
with their child during the event. Please notify the school before November 6th to
inform us if you will attend the tournament and sign your student out of school.


Earlier this week, invitations were sent home to students who were recognized for their excellence in the first quarter of the 2024-2025 school year. Tomorrow, October 31, 2024 at 2:00PM, we are recognizing those students during an honors assembly. If your student brought home a blue, "First Quarter Honors Assembly" invitation, please join us at 2:00PM in the GRMS Gym. Mrs. Kruger's class did a lab testing the amount of bacteria in hamburger at different temperatures.








The bowling team prevailed today in the year's first competition. Congrats to all our bowlers

Senior Parent Meeting:There will be a meeting on Tuesday, November 5th at 5:30 at the high school.
-Following the meeting, at approximately 6:00, there will be a financial aid presentation from EducationQuest for all 11th and 12th grade parents.
