Due to the extreme cold weather in our area, school has been canceled for today Wednesday, February 19th. Due to NSAA constraints the girls’ sub-districts cannot be moved and will start with the first game at 3:00pm. The Lady Mustangs are scheduled to play at 4:30pm.

C2-10 Girls Subdistrict time changes. Games will begin tomorrow at 3 pm MST with Bayard and Valentine. At 4:30 the GR Lady Mustangs will play against Perkins County. The start of our game is unchanged the reschedule affects other district teams.

Tonights Middle School Boys Basketball Game with Hemingford has been cancelled due to weather conditions. This game will not be rescheduled.


Due to the extreme cold weather forecasted in our area, school and all school events are canceled for tomorrow, Tuesday, February 18th. Consequently, the Girls C2-10 Basketball Sub-District games have been moved to Wednesday, February 19th.

The speech team was able to earn several places at the WTC conference speech meet in Kimball. Claire Wellnetz placed second in Entertainment and 3rd in Poetry. Draegan Leonard placed 6th in persuasive speech.





Whoop Whoop whats that sound? Its the fire department escorting our girls out of town for state wrestling. The girls wrestling team will be leaving Gordon tomorrow at 10 am for state wrestling if you are in the downtown area come out and support our girls.


Official results from the Boys District Wrestling Competition in Kearney, 5 guys just punched their ticket to Lincoln. Congrats to Kyler Vincent and Lain Tausan who placed 3rd. Trevyn Youngkin, Jaxon Kearns, and Toby Berndt placed 4th. Good luck next week at STATE!


Due to the expected weather conditions expected on Monday Gordon-Rushville will no longer be hosting the first game of the C2-10 Subdistricts between Perkins County and North Platte St. Pat's. We will resume hosting the event on Tuesday with the first game tipping at 4:30 pm MST


Gordon-Rushville High School is proud to host the Girls C2-10 Subdistrict. Games will be played Monday 2/17/25 at 5 pm. 2/18/25 at 4:30 and 6:00 pm and finally on 2/20/25 at 5 pm. Only NSAA media and Administrative passes will be accepted. Stop by and catch the action.


Come out and support our cheer squad, this Sunday Feb 16th @ the City Auditorium. Our Cheer Squad will perform their state routines at 7:00 pm free of charge to the public. Please help pack the stands cheer on our girls as they prepare for state.


Weather permitting, construction is scheduled to begin next week at the high school for the lift project to provide ADA access to the cafeteria. Please reference the picture for the identified construction area where Fuller Construction will fence off to stage and complete the project. During construction the identified areas will be restricted from school and public use. We apologize for any potential inconvenience this may cause. The dirt road between the track and main building will remain open and will not be obstructed. Construction is expected to last from February 2025 through July/August 2025.
