WTC Track Updates from host school Bayard:
1.) We will begin pole vault and discus at 8:30 and all other field events at 9 am. Girls discus and Girls pole vault will start at 8:30 on Saturday morning. This will hopefully allow to get some of these events done prior to possibly wind gusts in the later afternoon.
2.) Please share with your patrons that the gate will be charging the WTC fee which is $6 for Adults, $5 for Kids, and 5 and under get in for free. No passes will be accepted this day.
3.) Please share with your patrons that once the parking lot by the track is full we will be putting a cone out to designate no more parking is available. At that time the best places to park will be west of the high school or east of the elementary. We are hoping for a great turn out and want the parents, fans, and people coming to be aware of where to park. If they try to park North of the track on that road, the Morrill County Sheriff will ticket the vehicle and tow if not moved accordingly. This was shared with us by our local and county law enforcement.
4.) Please share with your patrons that their will be an art showcase in the old gym all day with artwork from each of the WTC schools. This is the beginning of our art competition for the WTC. The competition will be next year during the WTC track meet, but this year we wanted to showcase our local artists to get the ball rolling.

On April 5th, Melissa Mracek came to the fourth-grade classroom to do an escape room. The students started with an easter egg hunt with Nebraska symbols to get their first lock code. Then the students had to make Nebraska History details with a timeline which gave them the next lock code. The last section was on famous Nebraska people. The letters of their names spelled out a question. The answer gave them the last lock code.
