Today both RES & GES celebrated their last day of Read Across America/Dr. Seuss Week by having special guest readers in each building! School Board Member Carrie Child and Superintendent Mr. Livingston took time out of their day to read their favorite books to the students. Some classes also enjoyed a 'buddy reading day' where the older students spent time reading with the younger students. It was a wonderful day of reading to celebrate the last day of the 3rd quarter (and to kick off Spring Break)!!!

At Gordon-Rushville Middle School, staff nominated students on the character traits of patience for the month of February. Students with great patience will; wait their turn, not complain when they do not get their way, accept what cannot be changed, use their time wisely and try and try again. Due to the weather and road conditions Gordon-Rushville Public Schools will have a 2-hour late start today Tuesday, February 27th. No breakfast will be served and buses will run accordingly leaving Rushville at 9:05 am and leaving Gordon at 9:35 am.
